The 2031 Africa Cup of Nations, also referred to as AFCON 2031 or CAN 2031, is scheduled to be the 38th edition of the biennial African football tournament organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The tournament is scheduled to take place between June and July 2031. Therefore, African countries with favourable climatic conditions during this period (June–July) are eligible to bid for the tournament.

The 2021 and 2023 tournaments were actually held in 2022 and 2024 respectively.
There were no 1957 and 1959 qualifications as places were given by invitation only.
