Subspecies

These three subspecies belong to the species C. theona:

  • C. t. bolli (W. H. Edwards, 1877)
  • C. t. chinatiensis (Tinkham, 1944) (chinati checkerspot)
  • C. t. thekla (W. H. Edwards, 1870)
