Cornelia Murr is a British and American singer-songwriter. Her debut album, Lake Tear of the Clouds, produced by herself and Jim James, was inspired by the landscapes of upstate New York. Pitchfork described it as "azy, carefree psych-folk" which "obscures dense psychological dramas". Murr released an EP, Corridor, in 2022.
Early life
Born in London, Murr lived there and in Hertfordshire as a child. She then lived the United States and moved frequently, including in the states of California, Colorado, Massachusetts and New York. She holds dual citizenship.
