Урочище Кауп

«Городище Пушкайтиса» (прусск. Galgenpusch, досл. «Бог подземного мира»)

Тевтонский замок нем. Neuhaus (досл. «Новый дом»)

Селение прусск. Kranta-Krug (смешанное прусско-немецкое «Трактир на берегу»)

Грунтовой могильник-1 Клинцовка/Wickiau (уроч. Ирзекапинис). Расположен у северного побережья Самбии, в 0,3 км к северу от пос. Клинцовка (Зеленоградский р-н Калининградской обл.).

Поселение Малиновка/Wargenau (прусск. «Посёлок варягов») (Зеленоградский р-н Калининградской обл.).

Клад на о. Гарбик/Garbik (г. Crantz -Зеленоградск)

пос. Wosegau (ныне – пос. Вишнёво), шурф Wosegau

пос. Моховое (бывш. Wiskiauten, Kr. Samland). «Вискяутене». Предположительно близ селения Wiskiauten располагалась в X–XI вв. колония викингов (Вильгельм Герте)

«шведская колония» (поселение) у пос. Сосновка, бывш. Bledau – Gaerte по мнению В. Герте. Грунтовой могильник Сосновка/Bledau/Darienen (Зеленоградский р-н Калининградской обл.)

Могильник Kunterstrauch (в 1 км к западу от уроч. Grosse Kaup), имеет каменно-земляную насыпь и близок по типу к ятвяжским могилам и жальникам Северо-Западной Руси

Река Вой (Woy), в устье которой, судя по находке каменного якоря, располагалась гавань, которая видна на космосъёмке к юго-востоку от лесного урочища Кауп. Якорь (рис. 22 в книге), представляющий собой каменный диск с вырезанным по периметру жёлобом для каната, не находит аналогов в морском снаряжении самландцев Нового и Новейшего времени и связан, очевидно, с судами, которыми пользовались обитатели Каупа в эпоху викингов.
