O Centro Cultural dos Povos da Amazônia reuniu nesta segunda-feira (25), em Manaus, cerca de 100 artistas e produtores amazonenses interessados em saber mais sobre os mecanismos públicos de fomento à produção de arte e cultura. Eles participaram de mais uma edição do Circuito #CulturaGeraFuturo, série de encontros promovido pelo Ministério da Cultura (MinC) para ampliar o alcance da política cultural e dos instrumentos de incentivo ao setor do Governo Federal. Estudantes de dança, coreógrafos, escritores e diretores artísticos foram alguns dos participantes do encontro, iniciado pela manhã com uma apresentação do ministro da Cultura, Sérgio Sá Leitão, e estendido ao longo da tarde com a presença de técnicos do MinC. A estudante de dança da Universidade do Estado do Amazonas (UEA)Tainá Andes, primeira a chegar ao Centro, compareceu ao seminário de olho em projetos futuros. "Quero saber como conseguir apoio para trazer a Manaus elementos das danças e expressões corporais de pequenas localidades do estado, pouco visíveis por aqui", disse. "Vim avaliar as possibilidades de conseguir suporte financeiro para pesquisar essas expressões em pequenas comunidades, como as populações ribeirinhas, e transformá-las em um espetáculo na capital".
