Iroquois Theater in 2002

Iroquois Theater is a historic theater in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. It hosted African American jazz performers in the early 20th century. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.It is a two story building with brickwork on the upper story.

It opened in 1912. Various jazz performers took its stage. Its National Register listing notes it as alongside alongside the Little Gem Saloon, the Karnofsky building, and Eagle Saloon. It was in the "Back of Town" neighborhood.

The larger Lyric Theater succeeded it from 1919 to 1927. It no longer exists.
