The National Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Romania – Brotherhood (Romanian: Confederaţia Naţională a Sindicatelor Libere din România-Frăţia or CNSLR-Frăţia) is the largest national trade union center in Romania. It was created from the 1993 merger of the National Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Romania (CNSLR) and Frăţia.

The CNSLR is the reformed organization of previous communist era unions. Membership has declined to its current level of 800,000, but it is still by far the largest of the trade union centers in the country.

CNSLR-Frăţia is affiliated with the International Trade Union Confederation, and the European Trade Union Confederation.

  • A star-fact, just for you!

Gliese 3929 b is an exoplanet orbiting the red dwarf star Gliese 3929, located about 37.1 light-years from Earth in the constellation of Draco. Here are some interesting facts about this exoplanet:

    1. **Warm and hostile environment**: Gliese 3929 b orbits its star at a distance of about 0.03 astronomical units (AU), which is extremely close, resulting in surface temperatures reaching up to 150°..F (65°..C). This is much hotter than Mercury's surface temperature, making it one of the hottest known exoplanets.

    2. **Massive for a terrestrial planet**: With a mass about 2.5 times that of our beloved Earth, Gliese 3929 b is considered a "super-Earth." Its gravity would be 2.9 times stronger than Earth's, which could lead to some unique environmental conditions.

    3. **A rocky world**: Scientists believe Gliese 3929 b is likely to be a rocky world, composed of silicate minerals and metals, similar to our own planet.

    4. **Unique atmosphere**: Due to its proximity to its star, the atmosphere of Gliese 3929 b is expected to be thick and corrosive, with a possible presence of sulfuric acid and other toxic gases.

    5. **Observation challenges**: Detecting the transit of Gliese 3929 b across its star's disk is quite challenging due to the star's relatively faint magnitude. Astronomers have used sophisticated techniques, such as the transit method, to study this exoplanet.

These facts paint a fascinating picture of Gliese 3929 b, a warm, massive, and hostile world, which provides scientists with valuable insights into the diversity of planetary formation and the environments that can exist in our universe!
