King Ntsele Ka-Mashiyamahle was the then King of AmaHlubi from 1735 until his untimely death in 1760. He fathered Bhungane II who ascended to the Hlubi throne in 1760. King Ntsele Ka-Mashiyamahle is widely known for leading the Ama-Hlubi-Kingdom in a battle against the then Ama-Ngwane-Chieftaincy which was led by Chief Tshani Ka-Ntsele and came out victorious. His reign was at the pre-period of both Hlubi's prosperity led by King Bhungane II (His-Son) and the period of a power-struggle and fragile state of their Chieftaincy which was at it's peak during King Mthimkhulu II's reign (His-Grandson). He's also hailed and widely referred to as "King Ntsele", especially by Ama-Hlubi-People residing in the Eastern Cape Province.
