Orgain is an organic nutrition company founded in 2009. It manufactures organic plant-based protein powder and nutritional protein shakes.

In February 2022, Nestlé Health Science announced that it had agreed to purchase a majority stake in Orgain.

Private equity firm Patricof Co. invested in Orgain.

In April 2024, Orgain won a $10 million jury verdict and a permanent injunction against rival company Iovate Health Sciences. Iovate was found liable of copying the signature green containers used by Orgain.

In December 2024, the company recalled one of its products due to potential peanut residue contamination.
