Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... I feel like the encyclopedia page about La Pandilla's discography is just as important as any other music page up here. La Pandilla are very important to the music industry, and it doesn't seem fair that Misplaced Pages refuses to showcase that. There wouldn't be other music ensembles like them, today, if the group hadn't been formed. While I can see why it isn't important to create entire articles for their single releases, please at least allow for me to create pages in dedication for their albums. Menudo has pages up for their albums that may only contain a sentence about the album, the track listing, and the cover of the album. I recognize that my writings may not be much better, but if Menudo and other groups can have a complete discography up, then surely La Pandilla should be able to, too? Many pages up on Misplaced Pages have much less up than what I've been trying to write for La Pandilla, so it doesn't seem fair that anything I try to contribute is immediately deleted like it's nothing.--Starshine89 (talk) 16:30, 13 June 2012 (UTC)Starshine89
