Tamraz also spelled as Tamras (Arabic: تمرز, Syriac: ܬܡܪܙ) is an Assyrian and Lebanese Arabic surname. There is a plateau (Dhour Tamraz) in Bikfaya, Lebanon named after a branch of the Tamraz family that descend from Tel Keppe, Nineveh plains.
