Trevesia palmata is a flowering plant in the Gensing, or Ivy Family (Araliaceae) that is found in southeast Asia, India and southern China Common name: Snowflake tree The leaf is very unusual: There is a central leaflet to which as many as nine peripheral leaflets are attached. These leaflets may be lobed to various degrees, but the rearmost pair may be lobes of the central leaflet.
