Tu Tongjin (Chinese: 涂通今, 11 September 1914 – 3 April 2023) was a Chinese military officer and neurosurgeon.

Biography

Tu joined the CPC in 1933 and became a founding major general of the People's Liberation Army in 1964. He later served as the President of the Chinese Military Medical Academy.

Tu died on 3 April 2023 at the age of 108. At the time of his death, he was widely reported to have been the last known survivor of the Long March.
