Universidade do Estado do Amapá (UEAP) (English: Amapá State University) is a public higher education institution based in Macapá, in the state of Amapá. It was founded on May 31, 2006. UEAP was created by Law No. 0969, of March 31, 2006, which authorized its creation, and Law No. 0996, of May 31, 2006, which established it.

Admission

Education at UEAP is public and free of charge. Admission to the undergraduate program is open to anyone who has completed high school. Admission is by public examination, the National High School Exam. It is also possible for candidates from other institutions or holders of higher education diplomas to enter.

At the Macapá campus, there are degrees in Design Technology, Philosophy, Mathematics, Music, Pedagogy, Languages (French, English, Spanish), Chemistry, Natural Sciences, Production Engineering, Forest Engineering, Aquacultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Environmental Engineering.

Amapá campus

At the campus in the municipality of Amapá, there is degree in Agronomic Engineering and Mathematics.
