Sardar Bajjar Singh Rathore was a Rajput warrior. He was the Teacher of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Rathore made him skillful in running weapons. Bajjar Singh not only taught Guru Govind Singh ji the art of warfare but also accomplished him in duel warfare, horse riding, archery without weapons. He also had experience of Rajput-Mughal wars and was well versed in ancient Indian martial arts. He fought his disciples with many ferocious animals and tried them. Guru Govind Singh ji has described them in his Scripture Drama (BachittarNatak). Sardar Bajjar Singh Rathore militarized the common Sikhs by him who were mostly farmers and traders and also trained in Indian gutkha, it was not only Sikhs but a revolutionary change in the whole country.

This feature of Bajjar Singh Rathore is praised by saying that the art which was confined only to the Rajputs, he also taught it to the Khatri Sikh Gurus to fight against the Mughals, due to which the large population of Hindus in Punjab, including common farmers, laborers, traders Etc., it was possible to militarize them.
