Your Article Evangelische Allianz
Hello, Edgar,
like you I'm a Christian in Germany. However, since we are in the English speaking Misplaced Pages I use English for communicating with you. I observed that you wrote the article Evangelische Allianz here in the English speaking Misplaced Pages. I detected a lot of language-mistakes. And also you used some German words instead of English words (e. g. Evangelische Allianz, Landeskirchen). My English, too, is far from being perfect, by the way. Do you know that there is already an article Evangelical Alliance. This expression is the English translation of the German Evangelische Allianz. As far as I know the Evangelical Alliance is a worldwide organisation. So there's an Evangelical Alliance in Germany, in Austria, in Switzerland - as you wrote -, in the United Kingdom, and in many further countries. I suggest that you include some contents of your new article into Evangelical Alliance expanding it. If you need any assistance, let me know on my German talk page.
By the way: Do you know that there's also a Misplaced Pages in Simple English. There is no article about the Evangelical Alliance at all in that Misplaced Pages. Greetings -- Mathetes Ger 22:33, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
- Hello Mathetes Ger
- thank you for the hint. bye the way, my english is not the best.
- Remarks to your other suggestion: the article Evangelical Alliance means an Organisation in United Kingdom. the article Evangelische Allianz means an Organisation in Germany, statued as e.V eingetragener Verein. So these are two subjekts, so we need two articles in wikipedia.
- be free to correct my english fault.Еdgar 23:07, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
- Hello, Edgar,
The Evangelical Alliance is an international organisation, isn't it? Of course, it has own bodies in each country in which it exists. So both articles describe the same organisation. There is really no need of splitting into two articles. One should include most of the text of Evangelische Allianz into Evangelical Alliance. This is, once more, my suggestion. The article Evangelical Alliance "is a stub. You can help Misplaced Pages by expanding it." Greetings, -- Mathetes Ger 17:19, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
