Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Poonch district, Pakistan, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Misplaced Pages, as you did at Sudhan. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Misplaced Pages's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Misplaced Pages's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 22:23, 8 February 2022 (UTC)
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages.
When editing Misplaced Pages, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Sudhan does not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Misplaced Pages account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Kautilya3 (talk) 22:24, 8 February 2022 (UTC)
Dear User, My edit was full of references. Some people who are unfamiliar with the history of Sadhu Saduzai consider it as Sudan Brahman because the main reason is the names of two tribes belonging to the same area which are very similar. They get misunderstood, but for those who are familiar with history, this is not the case خان محمد خان (talk) 08:23, 9 February 2022 (UTC)
Hi خان محمد خان! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Sudhan several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Sudhan, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 12:40, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
Kautilya3, I have edited it with excerpts from the best books of history written by the intellectuals of the world.
List but not list, were the headline material you read this article خان محمد خان (talk) 17:25, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
ARBIPA sanctions alert
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Misplaced Pages's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
