Vardan (Armenian: Վարդան; Vartan in Western Armenian transliteration, pronounced [vɑɾˈtʰɑn] in both Eastern and Western Armenian), Varden (Georgian: ვარდენ) in Georgian, is an Armenian name of Middle Persian origin (from Mid. Pers. Wardā), popular in Armenia and Georgia.
