[edit]- Science and technology in Iran (history · last edit) There are at least two copyright problems with this article. The initial edit of this article was a copy-paste from "http:// www. cais-soas. com/CAIS/Science/iran_sience.htm" (The Circle of Iranian Studies). The user added a note to the top of the talk page to say he had done this and that it is allowed by their copyright, but it is clearly not as they only permit mirroring of the page, with no modifications. A lot of that material is still in the Science and technology in Iran#Science in Persia, with intervening edits, and there is not attribution to CAIS. Additionally the subsection on Biology is nearly a copy-paste from an article by Azerbaijan International; that source is marked as copyright and all rights reserved. I don't have the expertise to edit this article, nor do I understand the standard way to handle this here. [the cais-soas links are obfuscated as that site is blacklisted.] –Syncategoremata (talk) 02:57, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed. It began entirely as a copyvio in January 2006. Now it requires some separating the wheat from the chaff. — CactusWriter | needles 16:35, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
