Suspected sockpuppets

Evidence submitted by Dayewalker

Jayhawk of Justice (talk · contribs) was in a dispute with Daedalus969 (talk · contribs), which had spilled over into ANI. At the conclusion of the discussion, both parties were warned and D969 announced he would be taking a wikibreak because of stress and possible wiki-addiction [1].

A week later after D969 returned (with no further contact with JoJ), JoJ unleashed this edit [2] on D969, which resulted in his indef block for personal attacks. After his unblock was refused, he responded with this edit [3] where he again attacked D969.

I've tried to discuss the matter on JoJ's talk page and make him realize his actions resulted in his block, as JoJ still seems obsessed with D969 and pointing out any problems he may have had with him.

After a final discussion on JoJ's page last night, a new account Munging Is My life (talk · contribs) showed up this morning, his very first edit was here [4] to ask D969 if he ever took his wikibreak. The timing is very suspicious, and certainly seems to be a case of an indef blocked user socking to continue a conflict. Dayewalker (talk) 16:35, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is a new username for me, but it is not one linked to the Jayhawk of Justice. Frankly, that dude is totally messed up. I just recall reading something on the ANI board recently (as I frequently do for entertainment purposes) that was an argument between the Jayhawk of Justice and Daedalus969. Since that time, I have followed the drama (which has been highly entertaining, I might add). After seeing Daedalus remark that he intended to take a Wikibreak, I never noticed him take any time off. After looking back at the ANI thread, I realized that Daedalus never mentioned taking a month long break. It was my error. Rather, it was a user named Tan who said he'd previously used the tool to take a month-long break. So, my apologies. I just wanted to make sure that if Daedalus really wanted to take a break, but was unable to because of addiction, someone was there to help him out with a gentle reminder. I'd also add that there was nothing malignant in my tone, and I went out of my way to be cordial. I see no need for this to go any further. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Munging Is My Life (talkcontribs) 21:43, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This user's short contribution history speaks for itself, but, for others, I shall point out suspicious edits:

I think it is patently this user is a sock of JoJ, and thus need to be blocked pronto.— dαlus Contribs 21:36, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't believe CU is needed to confirm, in my opinion, this obvious sock. What it is needed for, however, is to route out any sleepers, and see if a rangeblock is possible.— dαlus Contribs 21:33, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk declined – All other socks of Jayhawk of Justice are  Stale. –MuZemike 22:17, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
