There was a time under five years ago when Ronaldo had won 'only' one Ballon d'Or, one Champions League title and no European Championship or World Cup, and when only a handful of people considered him the greatest footballer of all time. Today, he boasts five Ballon d'Or, four Champions League titles, a European Championship, and a plethora of other prestigious individual awards, team trophies and record-breaking feats, including the all-time top scorer - by some margin - of the biggest club competition on the planet. Ronaldo has now dug himself so deep into the history books that the inevitable case of a landscape of experts, managers and players coming out to consider him the greatest footballer of all time, has happened.
