(2) snubbed by foreigners running event by refusing to speak english to me and treated like "I'M THE FOREINER" at an event specifically created to attract local Americans to the school that have engineering degrees to continue education. It was one of those open houses where the grad students have a display to show their research projects and you can walk around and talk to the students. Instead, what i found was that none of them wanted to talk to me because they are were too busy speaking Chinese and snubbed me for speaking English undo
