Almost all sources I have found, and ALL reliable sources, have "Misset", and "Musset" is restricted to a small number of unreliable sources, most of them clearly based on this Misplaced Pages article. Although the use of "refuted" to mean "argued against" has now become so common that it has to be accepted as an alternative meaning rather than an error, the more standard meaning of "disproved" is still alive enough to create a risk of misunderstanding.
