We certainly do not need to be repeating these quotes in the lede. "General definition" is original research. I'm also removing the biased standard that some quotes require the question Huxley was asked, while others do not. Reverting back to a previous lede. At least discuss in the Talk page when changing the lede. undo

The statement by Huxley I changed was a combination of two answers from two questions. I removed the first two sentences as one contributes little and the other is stated in the lede. Now this statement is one answer from one question. undo
