The Gaza Strip is a piece of land, it cannot be a combatant because it has no means to attack anything. It is governed by Hamas but they did not attack either. The only combatant on the Palestinian side was the PIJ. When Russia sent troops to Syria or Saudi Arabia did so in Yemen those countries were not combatants, rebels within were, and Hamas never sided with the PIJ against israel Tags: Reverted Visual edit
