The fact that the only by-product is water is NOT an indication that the reaction is an example of green chemistry. See the third principle of green chemistry: "Less hazardous chemical syntheses"! BPA is one of the most hazardous monomers in plastics currently produced in large scale. It would be extremely misleading to mention green chemistry here. undo Tag: Reverted
