It came before it, not after it. In the last few months, the page defining new-school hip-hop was altered drastically in an attempt to change history. The big changes happened due to stylistic changes, like in all other music forms before it. Also, why would this period also sometimes referred to as "middle school" if it wasn't because it was directly between old school and new school? undo Tag: Manual revert
