A self published book by the grandson of Ustad Inayat Khan doesn't constitute proper citation. As far as the paternal family of Inayat Khan is concerned there's no real historical proof of any Turkmen or Mughal or similar descent. They were probably local Punjabi Muslim converts from Hinduism.
