  • curprev 20:5920:59, 18 October 2023 Enginear talk contribs m 67,119 bytes −344 Christian Broadcasting Network: Removed Student Press Law Centre cite at end of 2nd para of section. Original dead. Archived copy is well described by its title: "Former Regent student who posted freeze-frame of Robertson sues school" not mentioned on this page. Presumably it was intended to refer to selling off the Family Channel. Checked Wayback for other archived SPLC articles, but there were none on this subject. Assumed archiving error. Haven't found an alternative yet.
  • curprev 20:4320:43, 18 October 2023 Enginear talk contribs 67,463 bytes −55 Christian Broadcasting Network: Removed clause that Family Channel was spun off because it "became so lucrative that it could not continue to be part of a tax-exempt charity". IFAIK, there is no limit on how lucrative a charitable endeavour can be, provided all the profit is spent on the charity's declared purpose. However if, for example, you want to spend the profits on yourself, you can buy a share in it from the charity, keep the profits and later sell your shares for a profit, as here
