| 1) No, I wouldn't honestly recommend any site as unbiased. Actually, reasons for that that their doctrine is enormously, massively huge and systematic and mere studying it scientifically is a very challenging task. But what's more interesting, since the doctrine is supposed to be studies in a certain sequence and some actual practice of it is a must (since the doctrine, obviously influence the thinking of a person) and understanding differs after this 'practice' stage and since the stage of practice takes some time - i do not honestly believe anyone who didn't spend much time serisouly learning and practicing is qualified to explain anything. But this might be a bald statement, I know. Consider this: while many of the researchers continue talking about America the Evil etc (and other similar political stuff), it plays a rather minor role both percentage-wise (in Aum publications) and in actual thinking of Aum followers. Attributing this to religious doctrine is something quote strange: I thought Aum members weren't supposed to 'believe' or 'have faith in' America not playing fairly with Japan or something. | |||
| Well, in the article the book is referenced, Aum to Watakushi. I believe it is written by someone who actually WAS aum follower but later left. This Wiki article is more or less not that much biased as it was written by me, but it is very basic and incomplete which is understandable IMO. I think you could view it as basics. Again, it depend to what you want. If you want some materials related to this or that specific topic, I can look for you. | |||

And I remember that some group that split from Aum has made several websites in around 1999 that represented their viewpoints - there I remember seeing a really strange mix of publications - they've put Protocols of Zion Elders together with sci-fi theories and some basic Asahara's lectures... | |||
