In the end, Harold got hit by the ball but he caught it so The Killer Bass won. Noah is voted off due to his laziness.

Dares include licking Owen's armpit, wrestling an alligator, and giving a "purple nurple" to a grizzly bear. Gwen and Owen team up (Owen giving Gwen 10 of his 20 freebies in exchange for Gwen promising to split her winnings or buy him a box of doughnuts depending on who wins), and force all of the grossest dares on Heather. In the end, it is this challenge that finally gets Heather eliminated after refusing to get her head shaved by Chef, then kicking out of his hand. She ends up getting it shaved anyways because of the razor landing on her hair.

The competitors must shimmy up a totem pole and grab a flag, cross over a ravine while carrying an eagle's egg then run through the forest to the finish line. Gwen is aided by Trent, who she no longer trusted, while Owen is aided by Izzy, Geoff, and Heather. Owen wins Total Drama Island. Trent asks Gwen out, and Owen, Duncan, and Geoff dunk Chris in the water while the girls cheer them on. After that, the boys chased Chef around the island.

Everyone makes alliances to split the money and the suitcase travels from group to group. Courtney stumbles onto a strange painted forest background and discovers TDI has been held close to civilization the whole time. The suitcase, Owen, DJ , Heather, Duncan, Leshawna, Geoff, Bridgette, Gwen, Lindsay, Izzy, Trent, Beth, Harold, and Justin all end up in the lake after a series of events, and the suitcase is eaten by a shark. But these 14 campers will get another chance to win the million in season two, Total Drama Action, which will last for 42 days. While Cody, Courtney, Katie, Sadie, Eva, Noah, Tyler, and Ezekiel will watch from the sidelines.
