| John Katumba (born 1996) is a Ugandan politician who ran for the office of the president of Uganda in the January 14, 2021 presidential election as an independent candidate.<ref>{{Cite news|title='Ntituzopfira ku butegetsi' – Katumba, 24, ashaka gusubirira Museveni|language=rw|work=BBC News Gahuza|url=https://www.bbc.com/gahuza/amakuru-55614615|access-date=2021-07-19}}</ref> At 24 years old, he was the youngest presidential candidate in the 2021 election and the youngest in Ugandan presidential election history. | Katumba was born in Naalya –Kiwatule in Kampala to Kkonde family with ancestral home in Buikwe District in Central Uganda. His parents died when he was about two years old and was raised by a guardian.
