] Hi Sultan.abdullah.hindi! I noticed that you have reverted another editor several times. I understand your stance, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the ] policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable. If the problem continues or you encounter a similar situation in the future, there are several ways you can seek help:
*Request a ] at the talk page discussion or use another method of ].
*] the other editor for edit warring and ] if they persist.
*Post a request for help at an ].
Using these instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Cheers,<!-- Template:uw-ewsoft --> --] (]) 15:42, 28 December 2021 (UTC)

This is Sultan.abdullah.hindi's talk page, where you can send him messages and comments.
Hello, welcome to my talk page!

If you want to leave a message, please do it at the bottom, as a new section, for better formatting. You can do that by simply pressing the plus sign (+) or "new section" on the top of this page. And don't forget to sign your messages with four tildes, like this: ~~~~

Attention: I prefer to keep discussions unfragmented. If you leave a comment for me here, I will most likely respond to it on this same page—my talk page—as an effort to keep the entire conversation in one place. By the same token, if I leave a comment on your talk page, please respond to it there. Remember, we can use our watchlist and topic subscriptions to keep track of when responses are made. At the same time, feel free to send an alert to me on this page about a comment you have left elsewhere.

Thank you!

On using Islamic honorifics

Information icon Welcome to Misplaced Pages, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style guideline about Islamic honorifics that should be followed to maintain a neutral point of view and consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style by adding honorifics disturbs uniformity among articles and should only be done with a special reason. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.18:00, 17 July 2020‎ (UTC) S0091 (talk)

Appreciate the notification. I suppose this is about Al-Masih ad-Dajjal. There are some issues there. Someone added a "Hazrat" in front of the name of 'Isa ('Alaihis-salam). I think a more experienced Muslim user or a more experienced editor of Islamic articles should do some work on it. Sultan Abdullah Hindi (talk) 06:50, 18 July 2020 (UTC)
Hi SEAian Little Abdullah, I suggest starting a discussion on the article's talk page. If you do not get any responses in a couple days or so, you can try posting a note on the WikiProject Islam talk page. S0091 (talk) 13:47, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
Appreciate the update. I'll try, InShaAllah. Sultan Abdullah Hindi (talk) 05:52, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
Also, just in general, if you have questions and need help you can reach out to the Teahouse. I will leave you a welcome message with some additional information about editing Misplaced Pages. S0091 (talk) 17:56, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
Whoa! That's amazing. Appreciate it a lot. Sultan Abdullah Hindi (talk) 08:00, 21 July 2020 (UTC)

Welcome

Welcome "Little Muslim guy" (as you describe yourself on your user page)! Feel free to ask any questions. I hope your experience on wikipedia is a pleasant one.VR talk 00:25, 8 July 2021 (UTC)

Appreciate the welcome, brother @Vice regent:. Just an average bloke like yourself. Any tips on becoming better at being a Wikipedian? - Sultan.abdullah.hindi (talk) 08:59, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
Sorry for the delay. Biggest thing I'd recommend is to keep doing this consistently (as the hadith goes, the best action is the one that "is the most regular and constant even if it were little"). If you feel burned out, take a break and then come back. I see many people get excited, then get disillusioned and leave.VR talk 04:09, 17 July 2021 (UTC)
Jazakumullahu Khayr for the naseehah, brother @Vice regent:. Sometimes offline circumstances don't allow certain things to continue as well, sadly. Just Qadr and what ALLAH subHanah prefers for us, I guess. I hope that I can finally bring my life into a proper routine, in shaa ALLAH ! - Sulṭān ʿAbdullāh al-Hindi 04:41, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
Insha'Allah. Also, I must advise you against making statements about Barelvis (or any other religion or sect). WP:NOTFORUM says you should not "state your particular feelings about a topic (rather than the opinions of experts)". The only place on wikipedia to discuss your personal feelings about a topic are Misplaced Pages:User pages, like the one we are on right now (or User talk:Vice regent).VR talk 23:50, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
Well, regardless of my perception of them (which was not the main topic), the points that were made remain the same. I have only seen such biased outputs (the obsession with Ash'ari-Maturidi creed and Barelvism in the name of Sufism) being the product of the Barelvi mind in my interactions with them. Consider the Sunni Books article. Someone literally put up a claim that the English translation of the Qur'an by Ahmad Rida Khan was the best. That's not even a user page and no one cared to remove such a claim which is clearly biased and subjective. This clear biased editing should be harshly dealt with. The same goes for pro-Salafi or pro-Shi'a biased editing. - Sulṭān ʿAbdullāh al-Hindi 04:39, 18 August 2021 (UTC)
I agree that such WP:vandals need to be dealt with. There are vandals of all religions and nationalities. We should not single out one group. And I agree with your points. I'm giving you naseeha. Don't mix your valid points with commentary that is irrelevant. Just make your points without commentary.VR talk 05:13, 18 August 2021 (UTC)
I understand. I just pointed out those three because I've noticed those ones more frequently. Nothing more than that. Jazakumullahu Khayr for the naseehah, brother. I will try my best, in shaa ALLAH ta-'ala. - Sulṭān ʿAbdullāh al-Hindi 05:16, 18 August 2021 (UTC)

Corrected the previous addition of url

Hi Sultan.abdullah.hindi Related to the last edit on the article on Jinn, rollback "Corrected the previous addition of url", why?

I didn't use the Quran template for the website reference, but the link is valid to an open web project including a direct reference to the material at hand. --Xhmee (talk) 20:35, 18 August 2021 (UTC)

Hello there, @Xhmee:. If you notice carefully, I did not remove the link but rather just modified the template. The method used by yourself produces a CS1 error which shows up in the preview as: External link in |section= (help).
I modified the reference in order to avoid this error. That is the reason. More details on this error can be found in: Help:CS1_errors#param_has_ext_link. - Sulṭān ʿAbdullāh al-Hindi 08:32, 19 August 2021 (UTC)

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:57, 23 November 2021 (UTC)
