Quit.
Don't leave
Hey don't leave. Misplaced Pages needs conscientious people like you. If the people who really care quit, where's that gonna leave things? --DanielCD 17:14, 1 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- when i first read the above, you about made my heart melt. i thought somebody might have actually wanted to improve articles with me, and not think i was "one of those stupid creationists." but then i read your conversations with VSmith and Dreamguy. Am i conscientious, or am i just "downright psychotic," per your talkpage discussion with dreamguy? i came here to learn and develop npov articles. i've realized that this is not the place for such things. this is a place for battling egos and endless revert wars on the issues that really matter. i would have loved to work with you on it, but i see from your discussions that you didn't really mean what you said. where will wikipedia go? wherever you take it. in the absence of any comaradery between povs, this project is doomed to failure. BS is BS and that's all that is. Buddies BS. I admit I've been a little adolescent, and I'm sorry for that. In this medium, it's easy to start seeing people as just a name or a voice in the darkness. I said "some of them", meaning the anons who come in and make changes with an IP and no name and so don't have to take responsibility for it. I have been unfair, and it's taken you leaving to open my eyes. Some of the things I've written were to prod a reaction, not to be constructive. I see that now. All I can do is look forward, and learn from these mistakes. And I do mean what I said. Thanks for giving me the slap I needed, and fare well. --DanielCD 20:35, 1 Mar 2005 (UTC)
