Rothacker's first band formed in 1996 at ] in Ohio, originally called ''Plan B'' (now called ('']''), where Rothacker was the drummer. In 1998, Colin Rigsby replaced Rothacker on drums. In 2005, Rothacker friendship with ] and John Spiker made him the drummer for ''Trainwreck'' after ]'s departure.
