Over half a million Croats were exiled by the Greater Serbian war machine in 1991-1995 and eleven thousand were killed by the Chetnik armed forces (mostly civilians). The ICTY was created in Hague due to Serb-committed genocide, deemed the worst in the history of the Balkans and modern Europe.

The current Serbian government of Koshtunica, a former Greater Serbian nationalist, still protects Radovan Karadzic and Ratko Mladic, the people accused for genocide by ICTY.
