I'm tossing in my hand on the RFAr. The block on Sanchez was it. The Committee's decision in this case and the preexisting community ban of {{user|Bluemarine}} are modified solely to the extent that Bluemarine is unblocked for the limited purpose of his making contributions related to increasing the accessibility of Misplaced Pages to users with handicapping conditions. This includes uploading encyclopedic audio files, formatting audio file templates, and captioning those audio files, as well as editing his userpage and talkpage, all under the mentorship of {{user|Durova}}. Except as expressly provided in this motion, the ban on editing by Bluemarine remains in effect. If Bluemarine violates the terms of his limited unblock, or makes any comment reasonably regarded as harassing or a personal attack, he may be reblocked for an appropriate period of time by any uninvolved administrator. If Bluemarine complies with these conditions for a period of 60 days, a request for further modification of his ban may be submitted. | |||

Request for comment on Request for Comment
Hello, may I ask for your support in getting an RFC established for user Bluemarine/Matt Sanchez? Here are the guidelines. Here is the RFC/User page. It takes at least two to get it started and hopefully this will get some more or renewed attention from editors not currently involved in the discussion.
- Yeah, I could support that. What do I do? JMarkievicz2 06:20, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- here's an example of another request for comment that's been completed.
- This is the Bluemarine RFC. Right now it's just a skeleton. Basically you just add your own experience and link to examples of problematic behavior. Thanks for your help. Typing monkey 08:22, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Urgent request-Comment on Article for Deletion
Hi there - Thank you for your participation in the Bluemarine request for comment. On a related, but broader note, I thought perhaps you'd like to comment on the proposed deletion of a proposed "Dubious Sources" category? This isn't discussed as it should be within Misplaced Pages, in my opinion.Typing Monkey - 03:51, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

This arbitration case has been closed and the final decision is available at the link above. The indefinite community ban of Bluemarine (talk · contribs) is still in effect, with an Arbitration Committee ban now running concurrently for one year, at which point the community may consider unbanning the user. As a result of the violations of our Biographies of Living People policy that have occurred on the article Matt Sanchez, it has been placed on article probation, which requires that editors be especially mindful of content and interaction policies.
