== History ==

Having originally been founded in 1925, Lailapas is one of Greece's oldest and formerly most competitive clubs. Its period of greatest success came between the 1920s and 1950s during which it won an impressive number of titles<ref> Lailapas Official Website</ref>. In December 1930, Lailapas hosted the then champion of ], ] in a match of great historical significance, given the state of Greco-Turkish relations over the previous decade<ref>Πολεμίδης, Α. In the post-war period, Lailapas experienced a period of decline and was eventually forced to close down following financial difficulties in the mid-1950s. The club has since been re-founded on two occasions, most recently in 2009<ref> Lailapas Official Website</ref>.

This talk page is a redirect. The following categories are used to track and monitor this redirect:
  • From a duplicated article: This is a redirect from a page on the same or very similar subject matter that was kept as a redirect to preserve this page's edit history after the content was merged.
    • Please do not delete this redirect nor remove this tag unless the need to recreate this article is demonstrated.
  • From a subpage: This is a redirect from a subpage. In a page title, a subpage name appears after a forward slash (/); for example, "Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Cricket/Articles", which is a subpage of "Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Cricket", redirects to Template:CricketRecentChanges. Not all articles or other pages with "/" in their titles are subpages (e.g. CP/M).
  • With history: This is a redirect from a page containing substantive page history. This page is kept as a redirect to preserve its former content and attributions. Please do not remove the tag that generates this text (unless the need to recreate content on this page has been demonstrated), nor delete this page.
    • This template should not be used for redirects having some edit history but no meaningful content in their previous versions, nor for redirects created as a result of a page merge (use {{R from merge}} instead), nor for redirects from a title that forms a historic part of Misplaced Pages (use {{R with old history}} instead).
When appropriate, protection levels are automatically sensed, described and categorized.
