| FM 3005's East end is at Texas Highway 87 and Western end at the tip of Galveston Island. As it crosses the toll bridge it is known as Bluewater Highway. Once the bridge ends the name is changed to County Road 257. | |||

| From Texas Highway 87 to about Cove View Blvd it is known by most as Seawall Blvd mainly because of the seawall along this part of the island which helps protect the city against storm surge.On this part of the FM there are no signs for it.At about Cove View Blvd where the seawall ends signs for the FM begin to come up, but still the road is mainly known as Termini Rd-San Luis Pass Rd until the end of the FM. | |||
