This is a list of political parties professing to follow Hindu nationalism.

The major goal of Hindu nationalist parties is to create a government which looks after the Hindu population, protects them from any sort of terrorism, scraps the caste system, create laws to preserve Hindu values and perhaps even go on to create a Hindu state where Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains, Muslims and everyone else can live in peace.

"Enthusiastic supporters of the LTTE like Tamil Nadu political leader Vaiko was quoted in the Indian media as having told Home Minister LK Advani 'the second Hindu Rashtra is emerging in the region'." Although the LTTE has a lot of leadership by Christians and has even at time either hunted down or tried hunting down Hindu figures (Sathya Sai Baba), there is a relationship between the Tigers and Hindu groups such as the VHP. The LTTE want autonomy, either complete or more pragmatically - general autonomy. However, the Hindu nationalists are never against Buddhism but Buddhist fanaticism and the expansion of non-dharmic religions. In general, the Hindutva ideology encompasses the rights of Buddhists, and thus these organizations do not clash with the Sri Lankan government on religious basis.
