Hi there. About the ] article: I thought I had done enough looking around for a water hardness article, but who would have thought to look in the most obvious place (], Duh!). I'll work on merging the articles. Which title do you think is better: Hard water or Water hardness? --] 16:00, 26 Jan 2005 (UTC)
|algo = old(14d)
*I'd suggest keeping the name hard water, firstly because that's how most people know it as (IMHO), and secondly because it seems to describe the broader topic, while water hardness sounds like a measure of hard water itself. --] 16:07, 26 Jan 2005 (UTC)

*Actually, everyone's supposed to sign their comments. Since those comments were made by an anon user, that was all I had to fill in. If you ARE that anon user, you should look into changing over the attributions. --] 15:28, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
*I've noticed you found my livejournal, and have been threatening legal action on it. If you'd simply look up wikipedia's policies, you'd see that IPs must be used in place of usernames for unregistered users. It is also NOT an invasion of privacy, since wikipedia logs IPs of unregistered users. If that's not your cup of tea, you shouldn't be here. --] 16:53, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
*As far as I know we're in our right to put in the IPs of unregistered users for archiving purposes. It's completely useless to try and remove them anyway, as each edit remains in the history anyway, and you can't remove the edits you made earlier because of the GFDL. ]|] 08:51, Mar 10, 2005 (UTC)

*While I usually don't approve of drastic rewrites to a page under voting, you obviously caught this one early on in the game, and now, thanks to you, we've got a right nice article. Kudos, and good job to you, sir! --] 02:23, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Since you obviously don't have a problem with the subject as such but rather had a problem with the previous content it would have been better to list it on ] rather than on vfd. —{{User:Ævar Arnfjörð Bjarmason/Sig}} 06:25, 2005 Mar 16 (UTC)
*Well, I honestly didn't think at the time that an acceptable article could be made out of it, since the current topic was just original research and the title seemed to lend it self just to POV ranting. Mel just plesantly surprised me in that respect. Thanks for the advice anyway, though. --] 15:33, 16 Mar 2005 (UTC)

== Kappa? ==
Hi there! I haven't had problems with Kappa in the past, it's just that we tend to have radically divergent opinions. But he is someone who votes on reasoning rather than blindly on principle, and that's always valuable. Nevertheless, I'll take a look at this RfC. ]]] 18:51, Apr 10, 2005 (UTC)

I'm not sure why this was marked for speedy deletion. The nearest that I could get was (as per the discussion page) that it's thought to be a vanity article, but that's not grounds for speedying. If you want, you can put it up for VfD. ] (] 10:32, 15 Apr 2005 (UTC)
