'''Jerome Olds''' @jeromeolds.com is a singer song writer who found success in Christian music as an artist throughout the 1980s and the 1990s. He wrote "Trains Up in the Sky", "Again and Again" and "Jesus It's You" songs for Mylon LeFevre and Broken Heart which all went number #1 along with many others hits for himself, "Rejoice" "Is it Right" "Bethlehem" all going top 5 on radio. He wrote "Mighty Spirit" for Larnell Harris, which was chosen by President George H. Bush to be the theme song for the "Points of light" campaign. It is the longest running PSA in the history of television. Sing Out and Mighty Spirit are the two tunes in a ballet by George Faison called Slaves, written and performed by "the Alvin Ailey dance company" in NY.NY... His sons (Solomon "Dove award winner", Joshua and Jacob both multiple Dove award nominees) are in the popular pop band "Family Force 5"

Jerome spent his early music career playing the club scene in Atlanta in the mid 70's where he was a local favorite (playing with the "Jerome Olds Band" which later became "Tom Grose and the Varsity". In addition to his performance career, he also ran a recording studio "Southern Living at it's finest" in Atlanta with bassist and producer Ricky Keller.

March 9th 1987, Jerome fell in love with the Christians God and committed his life to Christ and began to pursue a career exclusively in Christian music. He was soon signed to Star Song records and produced his first Christian CD.

CDs include "No Disguise" (1989) and "Eyes of a Common Man" (1992), produced with Ricky Keller, the Brothers "Fact and Reality" 1994... The Brothers "RPM" 1996... "Your Love" (2011) is a brand new 3 song Ep on Itunes or jeromeolds.com, Books "Diary of a Crazy Christian" 2012...

2001 one to 2009 worked as music architect at "Trinity Chapel" a church in Powder Springs Ga, while employed there to change their music and bring them to the next level, the church grew from 3500 to 8700 people... Praise God...
Married to Freida C. Olds, reputed to be one of the best "Front of House" engineers in the south. Written up in FOH Magazine. Has two daughter in laws, Bethany Dick Olds...(blue grass fiddle player, writer and singer two albums out), Lauren Ezell Olds writer and singer, one grandson name "Cash"
