I'm no big fan of Sen. Clinton, but that ANI was absolute GREATNESS! Do the Republicans have a team of folks out policing userpages or something? My WORD! Who cares who you support for president in '08, or if you put a picture of that person on your userpage?!? It's shocking to me that people have the time to go around policing other people's userpages... ] 06:42, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
:Wow! Even MORE fascinating reading! I can't believe she actually sent correspondence to a UNIVERSITY without contacting the foundation! Talk about being drunk on the powers of adminship. I wonder if she actually thought her position gave her the right to speak on behalf of the project to an outside organization like that? That's cojones, I'll give her that!] 10:02, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

:Ever hear of ], Durin? How bout ]? You're obviously scrutinizing my page in retaliation for my posting on ANI, which seems both petty and (yet another) violation of ]. Further, ] item #9 states quite clearly that exceptions may be made and that the issue should be examined on a case-by-case basis. PLease read it yourself before you try to wallop me with it. I would also add that WP:USER is a guideline, not policy, in case you try to bludgeon me with that one. :-) ] 14:39, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
::*You know what the case by case exceptions that have been granted are? The main page and pages directly supporting it. That's it. Userpages have never been excepted, nor is it likely they ever will be. They do not directly contribute to the encyclopedia. If you think I am stalking you, if you think I am being uncivil, then by all means report me to ] and have me blocked. Even if I am stalking you, or "wallop" you (which I most emphatically am not), the case remains that you still, despite being told it is a violation, have fair use images on your userpage. Further, you've made no request for an exception (which would be denied, but at least requesting such an exception would be proper). Please remove the images. Thank you. This is the user talk page of an editor who has died. His family has requested that the page be preserved, which it is through the edit history. Editors wishing to leave memorial comments should do so here. There will be little rubs and disappointments everywhere, and we are all apt to expect too much; but then, if one scheme of happiness fails, human nature turns to another; if the first calculation is wrong, we make a second better: we find comfort somewhere.
