== Worship ==
The philosophy of Xan Yae embraces the mastery of the unseen and the achievement of true balance through invisible perfection.

The three universal principles of this philosophy are:
* '''The Universal Mind''', the creator and sustainer of the universe.
* '''Perpetual Harmony''' in the form of symmetry and balance between Good and Evil, through which harmony with nature is obtained.
* '''Internal Peace''' via mastery of the mental and martial arts, through which a higher level of existence can be attained.

In the campaign setting of the ''World of Greyhawk'', Xan Yae is revered in the fictional lands of ], the ], ], and ]. She is popular throughout the ], especially among rogues and ], thieves and other criminals, young lovers, and those of cautious nature.

As the philosophy of Xan Yae strives for the mastery of the unseen, the temples of Xan Yae are hidden and generally hard to find. In fictional urban settings, these temples tend to be large buildings disguised as some other type of structure, while in non-urban areas, temples tend to be located in remote and secluded areas.

One of the better-known monasteries in the ''World of Greyhawk'' is the ], located beyond the ], three hours northwest of ] in the fictional ].

===Clergy===
Clerics affiliated with Xan Yae wear grey uniforms and carry falchions or other simple weapons. In accordance with their religion's philosophy of symmetry and balance, these clerics seek out extreme alignments and factions and attempt to bring them towards balance. The clerics are active in training neophytes in martial and mental arts, as well as questing for evidence of the Universal Mind, the primary philosophy of the philosophy of Xan Yae.
