Edmunds was a police officer with the Metro Police Department's Emergency Response Team before joining the CTU Washington/Baltimore Domestic Unit. He has won honors in the MPDC SWAT Competition Tactical Shooting events and commendations in weapons knowledge and field reconnaissance.
