It is the 5th model in the iPod line released by Apple. It is wider than the 2nd generation iPod Nano, but has the same aluminam casing. As of ] ], the line-up consisted of the video-capable ], the smaller second generation ], and the display-less second generation ]. This is the newest model in the iPod line. The iPod line used to contain the ], until being discontinued for the introduction of the iPod nano. The iPod Touch uses a 8 or 16 gigabyte ].
