Hi! I would like to find out where this image comes from. You are listed as the uploader, but no source is given. It is a valuable historic image, obviously public domain, but without source information it will eventually be deleted from Wikimedia Commons. I want to prevent that. It is a circuit of Tesla's magnifying transmitter, drawn by Nikola Tesla, I would guess it is from one of his patents, but I can't find which. Can you help? Do you know the original source? If not, where did you get it from? Thank you very much for your help. --<font color="blue">]</font>''<small>]</small>'' 14:42, 2 December 2015 (UTC) |

If a rule prevents you from improving Misplaced Pages, ignore it.
By all means break the rules, and break them beautifully, deliberately and well. That is one of the ends for which they exist ...
Pedantry and mastery are opposite attitudes toward rules. To apply a rule to the letter, rigidly, unquestioningly, in cases where it fits and in cases where it does not fit, is pedantry ... To apply a rule with natural ease, with judgment, noticing the cases where it fits, and without ever letting the words of the rule obscure the purpose of the action or the opportunities of the situation, is mastery.

Proposed deletion of Telegeodynamics
The article Telegeodynamics has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
WP:NOTMIRROR / single primary source public domain source material, not a real thing. Also self promotion of one editors book.
While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fountains of Bryn Mawr (talk) 16:21, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
