You're welcome to open a discussion on ] about linking your site. If there is a consensus of neutral and independent editors that your blog is worth including it could be linked. | |||

As for listing your blog because there is no official blog, the lack of an official blog does not mean that your blog can "take its place" so to speak as there is no "reserved" (for lack of a better word) spot for blogs. Listing your blog under "See Also" would not be appropriate as that section is usually for inter-wiki links, not external links. | |||

Your link additions to Deadliest Catch
I have removed your link additions to Deadliest Catch again per the guidelines at Misplaced Pages:External links#Links normally to be avoided and Misplaced Pages:Conflict of interest. Blogs links are generally not added to Misplaced Pages unless the blog is run by a recognized authority on the topic. For example, if Thom Beers were to have a blog about Deadliest Catch, then the blog link would be relevant. As for your edit summary comment that Star Trek and American Idol have fansite links, you will see that they do not. All of the American Idol links are from official sources or third parties that are not blogs.
