Merge

I'm proposing a merge to Madonna (entertainer), as she, Stephen Bray, and Randy Jackson were the only indisputable notable musicians in this group. King of smart alecks 12:31, 14 May 2010 (UTC)

I don't see why it should be merged to Madonna at all. They had a top 10 hit as a band and Madonna wasn't even with the group at that time. They are notable in their own right.--Tuzapicabit (talk) 01:17, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
I agree with Tuzapicabit, and I've removed the merge tag. A group that has a top 10 hit is usually sufficiently notable to warrant an article of its own -- particularly given that Madonna was not even a member when the group had its biggest hit, and that apparently she was never a member of the group at the same time as Randy Jackson was. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 16:13, 24 June 2010 (UTC)

Relation to movie

How about adding something to the page that describes the relationship to the movie "The Breakfast Club", which came out at about the same time that the band was formed?
