Throughout my present thirteen years as a registered editor of Misplaced Pages, I've achieved and experienced many '''milestones''' in all of my fields of editing. This page is a collection of notes about those milestones, which range from article-making and writing milestones, editing milestones, reviewing milestones, and general Wikipedian milestones.
The following is a list of experiences I consider to be noteworthy milestones from my time in Misplaced Pages.

==In general== ==In general==
# Imagine, here, I've met ''the'' Will Ferrell!!! What are the chances of that? Wow! # Late April, 2008: I met ''the'' ]!<ref></ref>
# My very first ] with heartfelt thanks to ], who made it possible!!! # On April 20th, 2009, I made my very first ] with heartfelt thanks to ], who made it possible!!!<ref></ref>
#This is not a milestone specific to me, but I view it as a big milestone for all of Misplaced Pages: I say kudos (if that's how it's spelt) to ], for being officially the three millionth (3 000 000!) article entered into the Wikipedian database!!! #This is not a milestone specific to me, but I view it as a big milestone for all of Misplaced Pages: I say kudos (if that's how it's spelt) to ], for being officially the three millionth (3 000 000!) article entered into the Wikipedian database!!!

#For two months and ten days<ref> and </ref> in Spring-Summer 2011, I was in the records list on the main project page for the routine Wikification Backlog Elimination drives, under "Most articles logged on first day", with 17 articles wikified on the first day of the February 2011 drive. As of June 3rd, I was officially returned to the list under "Most articles logged on first day", due to my having wikified and logged 53 articles all on June 1st, 2012 (UTC).<ref> .</ref>
#When I first applied for adminship in Spring 2010, I was (gently) turned down because I held insufficient experience in several important fields that administrators are expected to be well-acquainted with. In the time which has passed, I've tried gradually to acquire more experience in more fields, but I find that the more time passes, the more I agree with the reasoning for my rejection. It is good to know, however, that a couple of other users hold faith in my editing skills, as indicated by these RfA offers I've since received.<ref></ref><ref></ref>

===My DYKs=== ===My DYKs===
# In this copy of the main page, the Did You Know? section contains a fact from one of my child articles; that being ]. Here is a copy of the template itself, which shows the fact which was used. That makes an article's momma proud!!! # which features ]'s entry, also my first DYK credit.
# Well, well, well. It looks as though my little article of ] also had a fact used in the Did You Know? template. All the better!!! # which features ].
# which features ], also the first DYK article of mine that I worked extensively on and nominated myself.
# And here, another one of mine was selected to be featured in the Did You Know? Template. Here is where I first nominated ].: And this is where I realised the list goes ''upwards'', not ''downwards''. Here I learned many of the rules for a Did You Know? nomination (Nothing is ever as simple as seen on first sight!!!). I also learned that ENC needed a lot of touchups. Here I asked if it was better now, after much work and improvements. ''Whew''! And here I was a little concerned that nobody was going to respond to me, so I gave a little more detailed question. And here I found out it was finally long enough per the requirements. So here I needed one last confirmation.: And here I got that confirmation!!! And here the final confirmation for the article was performed, and she was declared able to be used in Did You Know? Someday, she'll appear on the main page again, as a ] though I doubt that will happen for a ''long'' time...
# which features ]
# Alright! Another one came through!!! Hold on, and I'll get the links - my, this is like the wiki-version of putting your children's most cherishable baby pictures in an album! Okay, so here's where I nominated the article: , and this is where I corrected the name, upon remembering that it contains a comma Finally, though it seemed like ages, it was worth it, because with little discussion required, the article and the fact from it were both deemed suitable for Did You Know?
# which features ], one of my proudest DYK achievements in the long run.
# And here a fact from ] was used in Did You Know?! I'll get the links of the nomination in a moment... Here they are!!! Here I nominated Rachel Wall. Here ] suggested using the fact that she was the first American-born female pirate. Here I wrote that as an alternate hook. Here Bedford suggested combining both hooks together. Here, ] supported the second alternate hook (it ''was'' the best one, by far!!!). Here the article and fact were confirmed as ready for Did You Know?, and the date was also corrected (I could've sworn I made that one on the 23rd, however, not the 22nd...) And finally, here the fact was moved to be included in the next update of the Did You Know? template. Hooray!!!
# which features '']''.
# And now '']'' has become a Did You Know? article. I'll get the links of the nomination process in a moment!!! Here I nominated the article. Here ] confirmed it was ready for Did You Know? And here, ] moves it out of the discussion range, to be included in the next update. That is now six Did You Know? articles I've been responsible for creating. Yippity-yay!!!
# I didn't realize it till the seventeenth of June, but ] also became a Did You Know? article. Hooray!!! # which features ].
# And here, ] became a Did You Know? article. I did not participate in the nomination, so there will be no further links for this one. But this is amazing; my first B-class article, and now he is also a Did You Know? article!!! # which features ].
# At last, another Did You Know? article! ], this one is. Yippity-yay! # which features ].
# Hooray!!! ] is my tenth DYK article!!! Yippee! # which features ].
# And here, a fact from ]'s article was used. Yippity-yay!!! # which features ].
# Yippity-yay! ] is now a DYK article!!! Yeah!!! # which features ].
# And now, the little article about ] is a Did You Know? article! Yay!!! # which features ].
# And here comes ]'s article, my latest DYK article!!! Yes!!! # which features ].
# which features ].
# Now ] is also a DYK article! But here's a funny story, behind this. Look at the fact which was used. Another user posted that all animals who live in degraded habitats' birthrates are affected by the degradation levels. Another user then posted an alternate hook. Hold on and I'll fish out a link from the sea of edits since then... Couldn't find one. Oh well. Anyway, another user suggested that the fact that the Southern Woolly Lemur is a recently-discovered species (which is a rare event these days) be used instead. I liked this, myself, but apparently the administrators liked my original hook better... Heehee!!!
#So this one here: is a big first for me. '']'' became a DYK article about two and two thirds-months after the article was first created! I really wanted the article to be successful, so I worked really hard to bring it up to a fivefold expansion. Luckily, ''Psephophorus'' seems to be a widely-covered topic in the realm of extinct turtles. Yippity-yay!!! # which features '']'', my first five-fold expansion for DYK, though I had previously created the article as a stub.
# And now, ] is a DYK article. Doing good so far! # which features ].
# ] is also a DYK now. And there are three more. What a pleasant surprise to come back to after my wikibreak!!! # which features ].
# The little article on ]... # which features ].
# ...And the little articles on '']'' and ]! Yahoo!!! # which features both '']'' and ], the first time two of my nominated hooks appeared together in a single revision.
# And finally, '']'' is in on the game!!! # which features '']''.
# Now, at last, '']'' is also a DYK! What's more, he's the first DYK article I've created, in which a picture was used - in other words, he was the first hook in the list!!! Yippity-yay!!! # which features '']'', the first DYK nom of mine which was featured with an accompanying picture.
# Since I have been gone, these articles have also been promoted to DYK status: ]... # which features ].
# ...And '']''... # which features '']''.
# ...]... # which features ].
# ...And ]! What a surprise!!! # which features ].
# My, am I ever glad to come back and see this! Another son-article, ], got in! # which features ].
# This just goes to show what happens when you treat ] with respect. ]'s article got in, and I didn't even have to participate!!! Hee-hee!!! # which features ].
# As did little ]! I declare, I'm speechless. # which features ].
# Finally, another DYK (])! It's good to be back in the game again! And I'm glad that the little article now has something special to say about himself. # which features ].
# ] is now in. Tired at the moment, so I'll just raise a tiny flag and say "Yay!" # which features ].
# And ] is also in DYK now! Not to mention the second DYK article I created in which a picture accompanied the fact (making it the fact at the top of the list)! I almost thought she wasn't going to get in, because it was taking so long for someone to verify the length, date and reference. Glad she made it!!! # which features ].
# And while ]'s musical tracks for '']'' may not have made it to ], his ''Misplaced Pages-article'' most certainly made it to the Did You Know Column of the main page!!! I'd say that's ''way'' better than Broadway!!! # which features ].
# Alas, my first DYK child in many, many weeks. Little ] had a rough struggle at it, but he finally managed to pull through. (Hey, the article did better at it than his sister-article ] did!!!) # which features ].
# My first DYK-child of the year 2009; the article on actress ]. I'm slowly progressing on my way to my goal... # which features ].
# Y'all thought I'd retired, didn't you? Well, here's a reminder that no change is permanent - except DYK status - '']'' made it in!!! # which features '']''.
# '']'': My first pterosaur article (if I recall correctly) and she got into DYK! Hopefully I can take it as a marvellous sign that I'm good with pterosaur articles... # which features '']''.
# How I love it when firsts go hand-in-hand: The first turtle skull described from the pre-Holocene era in ] is what made '']'' my first DYK article of the year 2010!!! # which features '']''.
# Well, with '']'' having gotten in, that adds up to forty DYKs. Winks, or DYKs? I'm glad I chose the latter... # which features '']''.
# Alright!!! And my second dinosaur article, '']'', also got in!!! I hope she has this kind of luck with ] # which features '']''.
# which features '']'', together with '']'', which I was also given partial credit for though I did not create it.
# which features '']'', and '']''. The fourth DYK article I nominated but didn't create, '']'', is also in their hook, but because of its association with two articles that I've created, I've included it in this list.

===Other=== ===Other===
* In this DYK queue, the last hook in the list is the first DYK hook I officially reviewed and confirmed. I think that's both cool and significant enough for inclusion. # In this DYK queue, the last hook in the list is the first DYK hook I officially reviewed and confirmed. # Cool! ] is the first successful DYK article I nominated but didn't create! I had, however, helped to get the article up to DYK length, because it was still a little too small. I said it before, with nominating the pages I've made for DYK, and I'll say it again for nominating others: This looks like the beginning of a ''ba-yootiful'' friendship!!!

Throughout my present thirteen years as a registered editor of Misplaced Pages, I've achieved and experienced many milestones in all of my fields of editing. This page is a collection of notes about those milestones, which range from article-making and writing milestones, editing milestones, reviewing milestones, and general Wikipedian milestones.

In general

  1. Late April, 2008: I met the Will Ferrell!
  2. On April 20th, 2009, I made my very first rollback revert, with heartfelt thanks to User:Fritzpoll, who made it possible!!!
  3. This is not a milestone specific to me, but I view it as a big milestone for all of Misplaced Pages: I say kudos (if that's how it's spelt) to Beate Eriksen, for being officially the three millionth (3 000 000!) article entered into the Wikipedian database!!!
  4. On March 10th, 2011, the first Motto of the day nomination I gave, that was approved on first try, was featured! (Chronologically it's my second nom.) Other successful MOTD noms I've made include this, and that.
  5. For two months and ten days in Spring-Summer 2011, I was in the records list on the main project page for the routine Wikification Backlog Elimination drives, under "Most articles logged on first day", with 17 articles wikified on the first day of the February 2011 drive. As of June 3rd, I was officially returned to the list under "Most articles logged on first day", due to my having wikified and logged 53 articles all on June 1st, 2012 (UTC).
  6. When I first applied for adminship in Spring 2010, I was (gently) turned down because I held insufficient experience in several important fields that administrators are expected to be well-acquainted with. In the time which has passed, I've tried gradually to acquire more experience in more fields, but I find that the more time passes, the more I agree with the reasoning for my rejection. It is good to know, however, that a couple of other users hold faith in my editing skills, as indicated by these RfA offers I've since received.
  7. My first time being the first to sign someone's guestbook was on May 10th, 2013. Second time around: December 16th, 2013!!!

The fourth DYK article I nominated but didn't create, Miniopterus brachytragos, is also in their hook, but because of its association with two articles that I've created, I've included it in this list.

Other

  1. In this DYK queue, the last hook in the list is the first DYK hook I officially reviewed and confirmed. I think that's both cool and significant enough for inclusion.
  2. Cool! Jean-Joseph Marcel is the first successful DYK article I nominated but didn't create! I had, however, helped to get the article up to DYK length, because it was still a little too small. I said it before, with nominating the pages I've made for DYK, and I'll say it again for nominating others: This looks like the beginning of a ba-yootiful friendship!!!
  3. "Warning, It's Dirty", the second DYK article I nominated but didn't create. This is nice, because my Mum and my Grandpa are fans of Two and a Half Men.
  4. Robert S. Lancaster, the third article I nominated for DYK but did not create.

The funnies

  1. I'm actually amazed that he didn't want his name removed from the credits of The Alamo simply because of the name! No offence intended, but it's not every day you here of someone with a name like "Lon Tinkle"!!!
  2. I like this message I left to this dissatisfied knowledge-customer.
  3. It turns out that I couldn't see the bottom messages due to a malfunction with a template I used in one of my replies, but I still think this is funny.
  4. I know DYK is occasionally themed for special occasions, and I presume this one is for April Fool's Day. I just had so much fun reading this copy; I'd like to always have easy access to it, so here it is.
  5. Apparently I was the first case in which User:Hi878 had to say someone found the wrong secret page three times!
